The roots of Green City Solutions lie in real experiences. Liang, one of the founders, grew up in Shanghai – a city where air pollution is part of everyday life. The bad air affected his health so badly that he only felt better after his return to Germany. Peter, the second founder, had similar experiences on his travels: smog, heat, lack of quality of life.
These personal experiences brought the two together in Dresden. Together, they built the first prototypes, wrote a business plan – and received a start-up grant. The starting signal was given in 2014: Green City Solutions was born.
